There is always two sides to a topic when it's so popular and is happening globally. This gives many people that opportunity to express their opinions and what they think is the right thing and what should change about the topic. There are the people that say the meat industry is in fact a good thing and people misunderstand it. A piece of evidence that some say is “Their trampling hoofs and digestive tracts foster seed germination and nutrient recycling.” The people that are pro meat industry say that the cows help with crops and make sure the gardens grow properly and don't overgrow. Now there are also people that believe the meat industry is very bad and causes so many negative effects on people, the environment, and animals. The amount of meat we eat everyday does in fact affect our overall health, “ 1.8 ounces of processed meat a day increases your risk of colorectal cancer by 18 percent.” This is important because it's showing that the meat does have a direct connection to our health and if we don't change it now then it can become a bigger issue in the future. Even though there are some facts that might help people believe that meat factories are actually good, they are overall negative and we need to change them before it's too late.
Multiple perspectives are seen in the debate if we should change the meat factories or leave them alone. If we were to reduce the factories then it would make thousands of people to lose out on a job and could cause a drop in our economy because all the money would be cut. So from a financial point it would hurt a lot of people and this is a reason that many would choose not to change the industry as it is right now. But, from the perspectives of people that are not working or own part of these factories it's an obvious choice that we need to change it now. The way these factories operate is terrible and causes so many problems for anyone and everything around the world. Whether it be causing so much pollution that it's a direct link to global warming increase, or the fact that there are so many videos online of how awful these workers treat the animals that are kept there to be slaughtered. Even if corporations don't see anything wrong with it, doesn't meant that we should just let things stay the same. People are learning more about this issue and that will help change the way the meat industries run.
